Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form, email, or phone. We’ll schedule a complementary 15 minute phone consultation in order to discuss your goals, my approach, and make sure it’s a good fit. If so, we’ll schedule an intake session when I’ll get to know more about you and your goals.

Finding the right counselor is a big component of comfort and success. Some things you should consider is whether you have a preference of age, gender, or the specializations of your therapist.
You might feel nervous about meeting me for the first time, or opening up, that’s normal. However, you should feel that you get more comfortable as we work together. If after several sessions, it doesn’t feel like a good fit, please let me know. My top goal is for every person to get the best care possible. I’m always happy to recommend another therapist who will be a good fit.

I offer both in person or Telehealth sessions. Many clients switch between the two if they are traveling, at college, or unable to attend in person one week.

I believe that counseling can be a hugely transformative process. In order for you to get the most out of it, you as the client will need to engage inside and outside of sessions. This might mean pushing yourself to share vulnerably during session, complete exercises, or practice strategies outside of session. I consistently see that those people who are deeply engaged progress much more than those who aren’t.

I accept private pay and HSA/FSA cards. I am out of network with all insurance providers. With that being said, I can provide you with an out of network insurance reimbursement receipt. I encourage all clients to check with their specific insurance plan on any out of network reimbursement for mental health services.
